Since childhood, I have observed the world a little differently. Advertising on the TV, reflections in the puddle, the cut of light on the plastic packaging - all this aroused me not just interest, a images. Every thing, every object carried a metaphor, a code, an association. I realized early on that there is more to the visual world than just form. And is “more” I wanted to understand and show everyone.
My journey began not from from art school, but from from the keyboard. When I was 14, got my first computer, I was not interested in games at all. Instead, I immersed myself in digital creativity: 3D, editing, graphics, design of social networks - all this became for me a living language of self-expression. I didn’t just try - I created , day after day, training my look, style, taste.
One day I was studying RFID technologies and dabbled a little in pentesting with using Flipper Zero. I was hooked: the very idea of universal access in one device - in it made sense. I thought: “What if we made a simple, understandable, accessible multi-pass - one for everything?” No complications, no bells and whistles. Only what is really needed. This thought did not go away. .
And yes, I had a personal reason for . As a student, I more than once encountered the annoying everyday thing: a stack of identical passes - college, gym, an old card from school - and they all look like one. Confused, forgotten, lost. It was stupid. And then I decided: let everything be in one. Let it be beautiful. Let it be comfortable. Let it be humane.
This is how the concept of RFID multi-pass was born. I knew that design had to speak to the person right away. Therefore, the basis was the familiar form of the map - simple, familiar. But it already contained an update: it’s not just plastic - it’s “the same , only better.”
Visually, I based on brutalism with a human face: geometry, simplicity, a minimum of elements, but with smooth edges that are pleasant to hold. Only one wheel - but with it you feel control, you understand what you are doing. Controls: turn, press. Intuitively. Immediately.
Identity was a separate stage for me. I worked on it myself. The color idea is a gradient as a metaphor for radio waves and signal purity. The device itself is a black transparent case with orange frame and the same encoder. Minimalism that speaks loudly. The device that you want to take in hands - and not to let go.
From ideas to prototype the path was not direct, but honest. I didn’t just make hardware - I created a concept that solves a problem and does it beautifully. The key audience has become technology enthusiasts, but my focus is already shifting to the next step: corporate clients, government agencies, enterprises. The level of security is not a question of only technology, but and trust. And Trust starts with good design.
The most surprising thing is how much all this resonated. I took second place at the international competition at the academy where I study. It wasn't just a reward. It was a click: “You did everything right. And now you know that you can.”
Today I don’t feel like a different person. I did not become a genius, a billionaire or a guru. But an important thing appeared in me - confidence. Confidence in ideas that come to head. Confidence in that if you have an idea and you are ready to fight for it, everything is possible. Confidence in that I can.
From now on I'm going to only go forward. Develop the project, look for communities, people, partners, like-minded people. My course is up. I know for sure: great things are born where the right ideas, the right people and the right moment meet.
My approach to design?
“Design is when a thing says: feel what I want to tell you.”
For those just starting out:
Don't give up. Bend your line to the end. The world is full of noise - and is why it is important to listen to yourself. If you want, do it. Don't wait for approval. Just start and go. You will definitely be heard.
